yeah yeah yeah those are my fish!!!!

Um, your "Blue" Gourami actually looks more like a Three Spot (Trichogaster trichopterus) to me. An your "Gold" gourami actually looks like the gold variation of the Three Spot Gourami

Dont mean to burst your bubble as your tanks look great but what happens when the pictus grows i fear for your seprae tetra's :-(

What? What will happen? Serpae's are one of my favorite fish! What will hapen?

my pictus is already like 5-6 inches long.... my seprae tetras are 2 inches long and dont even hang out near the catfish... my pictus just chills in the same corner all day then at night patrols, but i dont see any battle wounds on any of them so no need to worry.

You will eventually then that pictus grows. As you noticed they are nocturnal and, you never know when it'll happen, soon you will wake up to a few lesser serpaes. Just think ahead as far as re-homes go for the pictus.

Blue gourami/three spot gourami is the same fish.... one isn't anymore the "real" name then the other. Some people call them blue gourami, some call them three spot. Either way it's the same fish. Same thing goes for the gold.... it's just a color morph. "Potato, Patato"

Type in the scientific name on google, both those common names will pop up.
