Hello! I recently received a mess of ramshorn snails in the mail, and less than a week later, I've found this-

In my tank. I'm hoping this is a Planorbid species of Red Ram's eggs and not the eggs of those strange little pond snails I've been discovering for the past month or so. Also- are the eggs normally clear, or is this just the sac leftover from where the fish ate the eggs? Thanks :D

It does look like ramshorn snail eggs. They are usually clear when freshly laid. The big pond snail eggs are normally in a crescent shape jelly sac. Tadpole snail eggs are in a more clumpy jelly.

Yep you will soon have billions of them.

Im taking down one of my shimp tanks that has rams and I noticed a few pure reds. They will be getting fed to the cichlids though cos I dont want billions.I would maybe keep one but its probably already mated.
