No, you can't keep both species together. At least, not consistently and not successfully.
Mikrogeophagus ramirezi needs very soft (<5 degrees dH) water with a low pH (ideally, 5.5-6.5, and certainly not above 7). It also needs extremely warm water, around 30 degrees C. When not kept in these conditions it is very, very prone to diseases such as Hexamita, as reflected by the countless messages on every fishkeeping forum on Earth where inexperienced aquarists find themselves having to deal with sickly ram cichlids.
Mikrogeophagus altispinosus needs neutral (pH 7), soft to moderately hard (5-15 degrees dH) water at a middling temperature (25 C). It is on the whole a hardy fish, and because it is somewhat more likely to carry pathogens without developing symptoms, and therefore might well infect Mikrogeophagus ramirezi (compared the whole angelfish/discus issue for a comparable problem).
