Ram Coloring

When Rams are growing up, do their colors eventually get more significant? Are they duller as children but more extravigant as adults?

I have had no experience with rams but I can tell you that from my research Rams start out looking great and depending on the care given to them they either can look 3 ways when they reach adult size... Like crap, like they always did... OR!!! Brighter in coloration and more active good luck!!!
