Raja's Regrowth Journal

Thought i would make a Journal to log Raja's fin regrowth This is him on the day of rescue 16th March 2011

Day 1
As you can see an awful lot of fin damage has been done he was in a tank with red clawed shrimp

He's been though 3 tank changes in a week
He started off in a trap in my 30gal.
Moved into a divided 8gal with Polo which then broke
Now he is currently in a 7l storage tub with water changes every other day.

I am pleased to say that he already has about 3-4mm or regrowth but due to his current temp home i am stuggling to get pictures.

Next week he will be moving to a 16Gal tank divided into 4 sections which will be his perminante home I can't believe I've only had this lil guy a week he's so lovable

As soon as he is in his new home (hopefully early next week) i will put some new pics up, going to try and update this weekly if i can

Aww yay! Lilfishie to the rescue! :3 I can't wait to see his recovery, poor little guy. He's a really awesome shade of red though! As if we could expect anything else from your fish.

Thanks Nyth, i have never owned a betta so red before He has built his first bubblenest over night so i must be doing something right

will be interesting to see what tailtype he actually is

Journal Post: Day 9

Well i got a quick shot of Raja today where you can see his regrowth

if it wasn't for the odd shaped temp home it would of showed his tail too

Can't wait to get him in the divided tank with proper lighting

Poor little mite :0( He looks like he's coming on brilliantly though! It will be great to see your diary of him further along.

well hopefully i will have the 60l up on wednesday when the stand arrives, am going to give Raja the fulll run of it until the dividers arrive so can get some clearer shots.

also his Ventricals are also growing well, which i didn't think they would, am so pleased with him

He is now in his divided home, really seems to be enjoying it

He is now getting colour in his regrowth, thats the lighter more orangey bit

Still can't believe how quick its growing, am more convinced that he's VT now too
