Rainbowfish

Are rainbow fish aggresive? Are they ok in community tanks? Just wondering. Dont think i will get any though.

Dwarf Neon Rainbowfish IME make good community fish.

Not to sure about other types of rainbowfish tho.

Cool! I might get one in the future. They look realy bright and colourfull (DUHH JOE! Thats why they are called rainbowfish!)lol

I have blue rainbows, red rainbows and parkinsons rainbows and they all get along fine. They are not aggressive at all

If kept in shoals Boesman Rainbows are fine with other target fish etc. I wouldnt keep them with slow moovers such as Gourami/Betta etc as from past experience Rainbows are completely brainless fish when it comes to feeding and will happily miss the food and get fins aswell.
