Rainbowfish is hurt?

Our rainbowfish seems like his stomach has exploded or has gotten hurt, does anyone know what exactly happened and if it’s possible to save him?

It looks like she has a prolapse - a hernia that allows the intestine to fall out. Don't overfeed, and occasionally, it sorts itself out.

Yeah, I've seen a similar prolapse in a fish. The one I had was born with it and didn't live to adulthood, but might have had other internal issues going on. There's nothing you can really do except hope it goes back in, which can happen in many cases, even with people!

Also keep an eye to see if the other fish start to bully her, sometimes they'll turn on a fish that's showing weakness, and even if it resolves, I would avoid any chance of her breeding.
