Rainbow Threadfin

i have 2rainbow thredfins in my coumminty tank. there getting olong fine but1of them like to flare up an disply all his fins.im wondering if this is a sign of aggreshion or is this flirting?any1 help

That is one of the reasons for getting threads- to see them display. Get a bunch more and you will have a ball watching them. Only the males display that way.

so this is a normal sign then?it is nice seeing them disply kinda weird tho just flying across the tank lol

Love, or showing off to other males.
It's normal behaviour.

But it's a shame you only have two. All rainbows are schooling fish, so they really should be kept in larger groups. They'll display more natural behaviour if you do.
