Hi, i have 2 rainbow fish, 2 Zebra Danios and 5 Neon tetras, in my 32inch x 15inch x 12inch tank. I have been feeding them flake food, for the past 12 weeks since i first got my tank. I just bought some blood worm in foil packs to give them last week.

The 2 rainbow fish had brown trailing faeces over the past 2 weeks, that's why i bought the blood worm to try and vary their diet as i thought they we're constipated. But now one of the rainbow fish now has started to develop a distended, swollen stomach.

Does anyone know why this might be?

Thanks in advance.

Could be constipation followed by infection. I'd take the rainbowfish out and not feed them for 3 to 4 days. See if that helps anything at all.
