i saw this buetiful fish down at the pet store it was called and rachov northbranch {spelling}i was thinking of buying it but the lady down at the stor edidnt know much about it so im seeing if anyone has got any advice

I imagine you are talking about Nothobranchius rachovii, which is a species of killifish. I've never kept them myself, but you might check out the oddball section, I imagine their care is the same as other killifish.
