Since it takes so long to fill up anything using my R/O system I was wondering if I just filled my rubbermaid bin and put the lid on it if the water would stay for a while or would it go stagnate? What about if I mixed the salt in it before i let it sit?

Thanks :*)

Whoops :dunno:

I was filling up my 2gallon bucket and I set my timer to go off when it would be almost full. I fell asleep and woke up 2 hours later and my kitchen is under an inch of water :X

Oops....

B een there, done that :*)

The wife now runs the RO water department because i cant be trusted :hey:

lol, i Hear that :p

so should my r/o water stay good for a week or so in the bin? Or should I only fill as needed???

Edited for my drunkeness :D and poor booze spelliing :p

if you can keep the RO water airtight and in darkness tehn it should last for months!

we have 4 25 litre barrels for water storage.

I'd heard that it needed heating and airating for it too keep though :dunno:

I dont keep RO water in storage as i use very little (only for topups). However, i know people that store it in darkness and airtight. no circulation and no heater (the water is free from anything in it.. if its pure RO then it cannot go off as there should be nothing in the water to contaminate it.)
