Well yesterday 40 fishes died yesterday first my betta died he had drpsy and he died after two weeks of struggle. Then i saw my female guppy having fry so i went and got them cause they were eating them. i had a cup with water on top of the tank so was filling up the fry tank and my mom was cleaning. And SPLASH my fry went down to the floor there was around 30 of them i quckily move the tank to try to save fry but it was hope less. Then i rescued like 10 of them wich still were swimming. But a lot of them died now i feel sad all those newborn fry died and pain ful death.

I'm so sorry! I can't imagine watching that cup tip over and rushing to save the fry's lives. That sounds terrible!

Yesterday, I lost two of my fish: an oto and a neon tetra for no appearent reason.

thanks today things got worse my new female crowntail (2days old) decided to jump and if my little sister dont see her she wouldnt have made it she still alive. Dont know how long shes going to live for.

I hope things get better for you! Looks like we both are having bad luck. Today, I discovered one of my neon tetras has Ick and I'm treating him in a hospital tank.

The beginning of the month was the worst...I lost more than half of my fish to to unknown probelm. In the crisis I lost 11 fish in two weeks and it was horrible! Hopefully you wouldn't have anymore problems!

Sorry to hear what happened. It's always sad when things like that happen. How's the betta? Maybe the white is fluff from when she jumped out .

BTW, I'm moving this to emergencies to see if anyone can help regarding the betta.

I'm very sorry to hear that 55 and sasha. Only 2 days ago i had a similar experience as you did with the fry. I was rescueing one fry with a turkey baster and when i went to squeeze him out into a cup I accidently squeezed to soon and he went onto the floor. Now my carpet it like a tan colour so just imagine trying to find this tiny fry (thats also see through) with also clothes on my floor. Luckily i found him, scooped him up onto my finger and put him back into some water. Poor little darling, but he survived non the less.

Treat your betta with melafix or some other anti fungus, it sounds like a fungal infection

OMG! You certainly have had more than your share of bad luck lately!

What have you done for your betta? If you haven't started another treatment, BettaMax is a good one.

Whatever you do, fresh clean water is a must!

Have you asked about this in the Betta and Gourami forum? There are members that post in there that know A LOT about bettas.
