I just put my Rainbow Shark (Jaws) into his new 55gal home last night. I came home tonight and i couldn't find him. I figured he was amongst the rocks hiding like he did in his old tank. I thought nothing of it and started to do some other stuff with my tank, well not with the tank, but behind the tank with all the cords.
Then i saw him... laying there all dried up.
I honestly didn't know that they could jump, especially out of such a small hole that's above my heater, directly beside the filter. He was my favorite fish in the entire tank.
I'm making a cover for that area right now. This really upsets me.
