Fish Crazy
Sadly, my first male betta (Dexter) passed away after only 1 day in his new home. For those of you who didn't read my other post, this was the fish whose colors were fading and stopped eating for several weeks. He showed no other physical problems and his tankmates (corys) show no illnesses either.
As a tribute, I wanted to show the pictures of Dexter that were taken when I first adopted him back in July. Sorry the photos are thumbnails, but I didn't have time to resize the images.
Dexter #1
Dexter #2
Dexter #3
At this point, I'm still thinking about either replacing Dexter's spot in the Eclipse System 3 tank. Either I can:
1. Not replace him, leave 3 corys alone
2. Move my other male betta into Dexter's old tank (semi-aggressive though)
3. Get a new betta for Dexter's old tank
4. Get a new kind of fish for Dexter's old tank
Option #2 would be great because I'd only have to take care of one tank again. Also, that tank is filtered and is cycled. I just don't want to see that tank take another betta.
What would you do?
Any thoughts on what kind of fish would be good to go with my 3 leopard corys?
