Quiet Air Pump

As some of you will probs be aware (seens as ive posted all over the shop about it ) ive laid my hands on a 3g tank that im going to be having some ADF's in. its going to be on my desk, in my bedroom, so i need some reccomendations as to a quiet/silent air pump, suitable for that size tank. cheers!

We use the Rena air pumps on our tanks and have found them to be really quiet.

My lfs only stock the rena 200 and 400, which are far too powerful for what i need them for. They also stock a brand called Terratec (Tetratec?)?

Get the tetratec!!!!

The APS 50 will be suitable for your tank and VERY VERY quiet

Rena airs are extremely quiet, however, they loose their power sooo quickly. I have:
Rena air 50 (or 80), 100, 200, 400 and they all have the same problem. You cant DIY fix them either, you need to buy the propper spare parts in order to service them.

Tetratec is the best imo, however, you cant beat a whisper (if they still make those) and i found those to be reliable and cheap but also an acceptable amount of noise.
