Using mature media I created a small 4 gallon tank with a sponge filter/heater and shed loads of plastic plants, sat it for a week testing it and its all good, so i bought 3 neon tetra and 3 lemon tetras, its been 3 days and they look fine, how long should I wait to put them into my main tanks?

Actually, 4 weeks is best. Some afflictions can take a full 30 days for the fish to show symptoms. 2 weeks is better than none at all, but you are still taking a risk with less than 4 weeks.

Agree with Robby, but I'm a slow guy, my babies get to play sometimes for months before they get put in with the big guys, lol.
