I know my cyniprid and charicins compatibility. So Can a any cichlid go with those fish.

depends on what you havein mind. the larger sa/ca's would not be compatible. they will pretty much eat anything that will fit in their mouths. you may be able to keep shellies or dwarfs with them.

And your tank is a bit to small to house a medium sized sa/ca cichlid. The fish you have now are typically used as dithers or target fish for the cichlids to take out their aggression on since they are easily replaced. Look into apistos or kribs. These are dwarf cichlids that still have an aggressive side, have brilliant colors, and can still fit into your tank.

A Jack Dempsey would be a good addition. Or you could go with a couple convicts. Possibly a female salvini. A GT, blue or port acara, pair of Jewels, or firemouths.

In a tank that size you could consider:
African lump/blockheads,
or some of the more passive mbuna from Malawi, like rustie's or yellow labs.

You could risk some Americans like , Rainbows or some of the dwarfs,
Just make sure you put any cichlids you buy for your community tank in last, this prevents them from havin rights to the tank.

Ya that sounds good. But i was kinda thinking of having some cyniprids and charcins and some cichlids all in one tank for my 55 gal tanl. I don't know if that would work. I don't know much about cichlids.

That sounds awsome. That looks like a great tank. I think i will try that when i get my tank by dec
