O.K. so i had to remove my fish from one of my tanks and put them in the other. ( Don't ask why but i'm not allowed to have 2 tanks for some reason so says my father.
) Now all my fish are in a 10 - gallon untill i get the 55, which will for sure be Christmas. In the tank were originaly, 2 Black Moors (goldfish) and a common goldfish; now there are, 2 Black Moors, one common, an albino Cory Cat, and one of my female bettas. I left her in as a tester, because i don't know how my goldies will react to her and vise versa. So far so good, she swims in a cornner not paying any attention to the goldies; as for my other female, she is in a 2.5 - gallon with silk plants and a cave. My question is this, my room is the warmest in the house, and when i touch the tank the water seems fairly warm, is it O.K. to keep her without a heater till Christmas if the temperature stays pretty muchin the mid 70*F's? I've always thought that femals NEEDED a heater, hence why i'm asking.
Also, both females are cambodian, neither have shown horizontal or vertical bars, do they just not show them because they have white bodies?
Thanks!
