Quick Question About Light Tubes

hi guys and gals

i want to replace my light tube with a crisper white one, thinking of a powerglo. But i have measured the original one, and from tip to tip of the prongs it is 17.75 inches, and from end to end of the glass part measures 16 inches. The markings on the tube say tetra T8 15w white.

would i need an 18" tube??

Yes rich. Probably somewhere on the bulb is a marking that says F18T8. Replace it with another bulb that has the same marking

Yeah get the Arcadia Freshwater T8. You will notice a huge difference from the Hagen lamps.
