Quick I Really Need Some Plant Help!

ok so i have set up a 20 gallon long and i plan to breed electric blue ram cichlids in it and i want to get live plants for the babys to hide in and to help clean the water and i just got a hood for the tank but the bulb is only 17watts and i need i a higher watt i plan to get anubias nana java fern and banana plant and maybe some water wisteria i need a 24 ins bulb that is about 50 watts the hood is only a single tube light pleas help me and could a reptile heat light work for it?

That bulb is fine for those plants, dont worry

Indeed. I would also add some fine leaved plants such as java or willow moss, too. Are you planning on breeding the parents in this tank? If so, don't forget the flat surfaces. Mine liked clay pot bases, you know, the sort you set the pot in so the water doesn't drip everywhere. Pieces of slate would also work well.

no i dont plan to breed the plants but will a reptile heat light be ok?
