I have some questions about some certain fish if any one could answer them for me I would really appreciate it. Ty

1.Is there really such thing as a fresh water puffer? (I know figure 8's are freshwater when they are born and move into brackish water when they are older)
if so could u list some names and maybe throw in some pictures.

2.What is the smallest of the a freshwater stingrays? (diamator wise)

3.Is there more then one kind of freshwater moray eels?

4.If any body has had some expierience with keeping birchirs could u please leave some info thnx.

Comment: My friend bought a a puffer that was said to be freshwater (figure8) and a teacup stingray that was said to only grow to 8" in diamator, but he lator found out that it was going to grow to 18" in diamator.

I only know dwarf puffers are 100% freshwater puffers. As to the others, someone else will come to answer that soon. I dont know myself

1- Dwarf Puffers.

2- Potamotrygon histrix and Potamotrygon reticulata reaching 10-12".

3- No there is no FW species of Moray Eel the fish labeled as fresh water moray eels is actually a Brackish fish (Gymnothorax tile) that needs a saltinity of 1.005 or above.

There is a post at the top of the page that lists fw and bw puffers. Some of them are dwarfs, South Americans, and Fahaka.
