Questions About Keeping Frogs

Hi, i would like some frogs but have a few questions.

Is there any that would do good in a 28Litre tank?

How do you set out the tank? do you have to have a place where they can go which is out of the water, like say a rock sticking out of the top of the water?

Hi,

A group of african dwarf frogs would be ok in a tank that size. They are completely aquatic so don't need to come out at all. Here's their profile http/www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=133204

Great, i would love some frogs! My only MAJOR problem is finding a place that sells them!

I live in Australia, bout an hour and a bit south of Sydney, i might have to travel to Syd to find anything like that. So if anyone knows where to get em!!

some more questions,

Can they survive at all out of water? or are they like fish and need to stay in water?

Can you touch/ hold them? or is that a bad idea.

Hi,

They need to stay under water or they will dry up you could hold them underwater i suppose but they tend to jump when you lift them from the water, i have 8 now and they love interacting with each other.

Good luck with that, they're great pets. I have read on other forums that ADFs are illegal in Austrailia due to the fact that they can be very invasive in that region. Let us know if you find some.
