Question!!

I'm just curious, but we have a TOTM, FOTM, and BOTM...why is the betta the only fish species that actually get recognized? What about african cichlids? Or south american cichlids? Gouramis also. Or tetras!? Why just bettas? I'm just curious! Thankz!

Yup, staredecisis is right, Fish of The Month cover all of the other species, bettas are a fish all thier own .They're all so different we just HAD to give them a contest to themselves, and it's really not fair for regular 'tropicals' to compete against a stunning betta,no contest! (do I seem partial?)
