Question On mollies?

I have one black male mollie and three black female mollies. One of the female mollies is a bit larger than the others and i was thinking i was probably gonna have babies!! any body have any ideas on black mollies and how to tell if there preg?

well on black mollies i would think its impossible because its black and so is the gravid spot. i think the only way is to wait and see if it get fatter and fatter

Its true, on black mollies its most difficult. On other mollies, though, you watch for their bellies to get big, of course. Also, around their anus, there will be a very dark, kind of shiny spot. Correct me if I'm wrong here, somebody - This is the fry's eyes.

yes that correct... the black is the fry pupils...
and i agree, its very difficult.

but when she is about to give birth
she'll lose her appetite and behave

my molly got very agressive and started chasing all the others away just before she gave birth (although she has been doing that since she became pregnant, so she might just be a bully)

Usually the underbelly turns huge, especially around the last week. And it looses it's roundness, as the fry are formed lumps already. It's almost like squared.
