In a medium planted tank how do you feed the fish ? Bcause everytime I do the food stays on top of the plants n doesn't go down which it could b maybe fine gor most fishes but not fine when I'm also trying to feed the bottom feeders. They don't usually go to the top looking for their food.
As you can see on this pics besides that the tank used to look like a natural habitat but my wife turned it into a " girly " tank with shot glasses, it'll pots and wine glasses, I guess it's a fish bar.
But to be honest I bought the tank for her so I guess she can do whatever she wants with it. Anyhow in the pics u can see there are many plants n they keep the food on top not allowing it to go down to the bottom unless I swirl the water to force it to go down n feed the corys.
Any trick somebody can teach me ?

I have a piece of rigid tubing about 20 inched long it is about the same dianeter as the inside of airline hose.. I use it the shake.opke the leaves to dislodge stuck food. It also works for food stuck on driftwood or other decor. In a pinch, I may grab my long handled Kent algae scraper for doing this.

I guess the only way will always be to move the plants out of the way or shaking the leaves until food reaches the bottom. Thanks my friend

I use a pipette sometimes, such up a bit of water and just aim it at the food, it soon sinks.
