i have just bought a nano thats been running fore 3 months with live rock, coral and fish i have been told to change 10% water .
can i use water from my purified tap i have in my kichen and mix it with sea salt , if so what equipment will i need ,i have a salt tester

thanks for any help

If the "purified tap" is from a reverse osmosis unit, then yes it should be fine. If its some other filter, I would proceed with caution. I would strongly suggest you test your water first for nitrate and phosphates as the filters may have been exhausted (If it is an RO unit). Get a TDS meter as well to test the water.

High nitrate and phosphates will inhibit/kill coral growth and if your purified tap is not screening out copper, then you will kill the coral and any invertebrates in the tank too.
