Ive been looking on the internet on info about my fish that I have. I was looking at info on kuhli loaches and they said to not to put a "ghost shrimp" in the tank or to put them in a tank that has a "ghost shrimp" already occupied in it. I was done reading but it didnt say why, and I was wanting to buy a couple of them. Cause if there isnt any serious threat then I want to go out and buy them.

buy 1 if they r cheap and find out what happens.nuttin to much prob.the kuhlis mouth is to small

I dont see why anything would happen, the kuhli's mouth is too small as said to eat a ghost shrimp, and a kuhli is too big for a ghost shrimp to eat.

I have a couple more questions to ask...

I have an underground filter and Im gonna buy a freshwater clam. If it burys too far down into the gravel depending on its size would it get sucked up in to the filter?

Also...
Ive had my tank for about 4 weeks and as far as i can see there isnt any algae development. Now I know that I need to have some algae in the tank for other purposes, but some needs to grow for my Pleco fish. And whenever I put in algae wafers he never eats them so they just sit there. So what should I do?

feed less probably, Try putting in a piece of an algae wafer instead of a whole one, and put it in after the lights go out. How big is your pleco and what type is he? BTW Ghost shrimp are about $.25 so give it a shot
