Question About Juwel Aquarium Hood

Can you remove the aquarium hood on a juwel rio 240 or are the glued on like fluval models?

theyre glued on, but the light unit etc can be removed, and they contain the brace too.

its really annoying, but GF did it to a 125 but a 240 would more than likely break, but if you could make your own brace then you could take it off
