Question about canopies

I'm interested in getting a stand and canopy/hood built for my 90 gallon tank. Similar to this (of course not those dimensions) http/www.bigalsonline.ca/catalog/product...id1=2253;pcid2=

My questions are...

where does the filter go in a set up like this? I've only ever used hang on back filter and I assume those just wont work with this. What would be best for a tank with a canopy like that?

Anyone have any pics of a set up like this where it shows the equipment and where/how it is set up? The person that I would get to build this is strictly a carpenter, not an aqarium person so I need to provide him with as much details as possible.

Hi...I am not an expert, but, I would think the back of the hood would have cutouts or be shaped for where your equipment fits on the back. I don't see why the back of the wooden hood couldn't have a shaped out square if you liked having an outside power filter. SH

Ya your right. I think this would be the easiest solution.

I don't have any equipment at all yet it, but the glass tank, so I just want to get some suggestions.

It's going to be awhile before I actually get the the point where I have fish in it. The 90 gallon right now has a VERY old bearded dragon in it.

Right now, I'm slowly getting everything I will need for it.
