I was wondering if ADF'S were compatible with the fish in my long 20g (see sig for what fish are in it) or my 10g (see sig to see whats in it) or my betta in the 2.5g? Thanks in advance for all answers.

adfs should really be ket alonea he dont really get any food in a community tank. you can hand feed them though i do mine with a turkey baster!

My ADF is fine in my community tank, but it is true you need to hand feed them as the food is eaten by all the fish, other than this they are fine in most tanks. Some people keep them with bettas, but i think it would be best in one of your non betta tanks.
EDIT: Not sure if they are ok with plecos though.

Yeah, they'll do fine as long as you've got plenty of hiding places and like laurasmithuk said, you get enough food to them. Turkey basters are the most ingenious invention EVER!

Frogs don't enjoy airpumps so if you've got one installed in your tank you might want to think twice before you put frogs in. The constant steam of bubbles really causes havoc with their senses.

I've kept frogs and plecos in the same tank and they've done fine but admitedly I've only ever kept them with small plecs - I don't know if a large plec would gobble them but it sounds quite likely.

I heard that they like live food like guppys is that true? Or is that ACF'S (african clawed frogs)

ADF's like live foods - correct, they like live bloodworm, but again community fish will more than likely get them first, so its best if you use tweasers to put them near the adf.

No not bloodworms, guppys what about them I wouldn't have to hand feed a frog moving food and the tetras I belive won't bother a guppy.

:sighs: I heard that ADF'S like to eat live GUPPYS and that the BLACK TETRAS wouldn't bother the GUPPY. But I wasn't sure if they were the ones that like live GUPPYS or african clawed frogs were the ones that like the guppy.

lol, ok ok i'm tired.
I doubt an ADF would even be entertained by a guppy never mind ever think about eating one (wouldnt be able to physically eat one anyway), so i presume its thw ACF that may eat live guppys. And i dont think black tetras would bother guppys no.

Tjhats African Clawed frogs that eat small fish not African Dwarf frogs... They'll only ever be able to eat guppy fry but nothing bigger.

Feed ADF's a mixture of live and frozen foods such as bloodworm, brineys and tubifex. It's always more fun to watch them eat live food but make sure it comes from a decent source (A trusted company or a pond free from peticides)

Is there food made just for them that sinks to the bottom like a algae wafer that they can pick it up and eat it?

There are a few brands but I wouldn't advise them. A healthy frog is a frog with a varied diet. S'not like we can get everything our body needs in a single meal and frogs are exactly the same.

The same can be said for fish.

G'luck

Ok thanks. But wouldn't the frog run away from a big to him plastic thing running towards him? Also my lps doesn't have adf's so would there be any where else where I could find them besides the internet since I can't afford shipping?
