do you mean specific gravity? ist the density of water with salt in it at 24oC

Specific gravity refers to the weight of the object with the reference point (1.000) being pure water at a specific temperature and pressure. The pressure is usually 1 atmosphere (so sea level) and the temperature will either be 15 degrees or 24 degrees depending on the hydrometer you are using.
