Hi,
Its me again... Anyways I bought a new female today from wm and she is a red color. BUT under her little fins that come down (dont know the name) she is white. Is this just her coloring or is she sick?
Thanks in advance for your help ;)

Probably just her color unless it's weird looking. Just watch it to make sure you don't notice any changes in it.

Ive been staring at her for a while now and i do think its just her coloring. Thanks riogal you were a great help! :)

Is she particularly large with eggs? When they do get heavily gravid, then they usually get a lighter color on their belly area. In lighter-colored females, it's exactly the opposite, and they get a darker color there.

Kiarra - She does not look to big at all. Shes actually small! What is your opinion on putting her in a 10 gal community with a guppy, 2 mollies, 3 platies and a pleco? Because thats where she is right now...

Honestly, I wouldn't put her with a single one of those fish except maybe the pleco. I've seen too much go wrong...and it's not even the Betta's fault. Guppies nip at Betta fins, Bettas try to kill Guppies. Mollies abuse Bettas mercilessly.

At least, that's my experience with interspecies relations.
