Does the 2 gall have any fish in it? If it does, there is a risk if you move the shrimps into that tank. The water on the shrimps and the net just might have some stage 2 or even stage 3 whitespot parasites in it, resulting in any fish in the 2 gall getting whitespot too.
If you can get it in Canada, I know that King British WS3 at half dose does not kill amano shrimps - I had to treat with them in my tank when I couldn't find the shrimps to remove them and they all survived. King British White Spot Control is the same stuff only more dilute. I should also say that I had use use half doses of the WS3 as I also have loaches, and it is possible that full doses will harm amanos.
