Qualifying Week - What Temp?

DAY 25

This morning my numbers were:

0.25ppm Amm
0.25ppm Nitrite

From a 4/5ppm Amm dose 12 hours ago. I think I'm almost cycled (hopefully just days away ) so I'd like to know what temp I should set the tank for the qualifying week?

I kept mine at 30 degrees, right up until my final, 95% water change prior to my first fish going in. Don't forget to lower your heater temp just before/during/after the water change..by the time you get back from your LFS with your first fish, the temperature should be what you want it to be.

I would start lowering my temperature during that final week. Heaters can be tricky to adjust properly and you will want to allow the final setting to run for a day or two just to make sure it has stabilized where you think it did.
