Hi. My python works well at filling and emptying the tank, but it doesn't pick up a lot of debris. I've tried using bigger tubes, smaller tubes, but it doesn't seem to matter. It's a 55 gallon, and the faucet is about the same height. Any thoughts on this?

Check all of your connections and your water pressure. I had the same problem and had to move to my bathroom faucet, which is closer to the main incoming water line, to get the right pressure.

I may have no options then. I live in an apartment complex on the third floor where our water pressure is not great anywhere.

Have you tried in the middle of suction, cut the switch to close. Let the pressure build up then open it back up.

Gives quick burst of pressure. ;)

Actually I have tried this. It just shuts off the siphon and then I actually have to get all the water out of the tube and start over because it doesn't have enough power to lift it up into the sink. I broke down and ordered a battery powered cleaner.
