my fish and tank have been doing absolutley amazing since i set it up (minus the growing algae which will be cleaned off sunday) until i recently lost half of my pygmy population in a week. none of the other fish seem effected. i have matae cories, guppies, gouramis (sparkling), glowlights and neons (in this tank). oh and ghost shrimp. my stats on the tank haven't changed at all since it's been set up - we check it every week. could it be a pygmy plague?

a month? i got some of them not long after i set them up and these are the first guys that have died.

Are you finding the bodies or are they eaten/partially eaten? Do they look bruised, like they have been killed by something in the tank?

I have heard of sparkling gouramis getting territorial even towards cories so there is a chance that they could be trying to clear them out of "their" space.
