Pygmy Cory In Unfiltered Tank?

Hi, I have a betta in a 5 gallon tank and was wondering whether to put some pygmy corys in with him. Only problem is that he doesn't like water movement, so has no filter.

He gets a 20% water change every other day, but I would up that to daily.

Would the corys cope with this, or do they need a filter?

i wouldent recomend keeping corydoras with bettas as they can be agrresive towards other fish
and it is recomended to have a filter for your corys
