I just recieved a 10 gallon tank and I was planning on putting my Betta in there with Kuhli loaches and pygmy cories. so I was looking around the city for the fish I want, I was able to find Kuhlis but a little bit of trouble finding pygmys, but I eventually found a load of them somewhere and they looked really small. So I wondering if the Betta would try to eat them or for that fact try to harm them because of their size?

Part of it is going to depend on your betta, some are laid back and others will not accept any tankmates, I have 6 full grown pygmy cories which could be battered by my bettas if put in with them but certainly not eaten. The ones you saw may be young so perhaps grow them up first? Any rough estimate on sizing? Do you think they would fit in a bettas mouth easily?

A full grown pygmy is still a very small fish. This one was in a 10 gallon tank with a female Heterandria formosa when I snapped his picture. The other 8 were elsewhere in the tank as were the rest of the Heterandria.
