Pvc Schedule

Starting up new 24gal aquapod, plan using PVC pipe cut off in 3/4 inch pieces to set LR on. Have read to use schedule 80 gray pipe, hard to find except in very long lengths, have found schedule 40, anyone know if anything wrong with the 40?

Nope. Scedule 40 is great for low-pressure applications that we aquarists use. Schedule 80 is needed for really high-pressure things such as big pool pumps, or more industrial type processes
