Hey folks,
I'm wondering, since I only have 2 semi-caves (half a coconut and a half foot fake plastic log), would it be safe to put a few PVC pipes inside for my fish?
The big'o fat Bichor stays in the fake log and the other one hides in the coconut. That leaves the Plecos either homeless or they often share the log house.
Since all my tank mates are going to get larger than 1 foot, I really need good large caves for them. Would pluming pipes be safe for fish/snails/etc?
Also, is there such a thing as a clear cave? Or a clear PVC pipe?
This new home would mainly be for the Bichors.
Btw, I don't want any natural wood (bog/driftwood) in my tank. I don't like the fact that it goes to pieces.
Here's my setup:
60 gallon tank
-2 Common Plecos (less than 1 foot each)
-2 Bichors (one 7 inches, the other 5 inches)
-20 + newly hatched baby snails (don't know what species yet)
-X amount of new guppies in the future.
Thanks.
