A 25% water change once a week with appropriate salt eg Red Sea Max salt will replace all missing calcium, pH buffers etc BUT if you have certain corals that take in lots of minerals like claicum, strotinium etc, then you may need to add additives but you usually dont need to. Test your calcium levels etc and see what theyre like. If too low, your corals are taking loads in therefore you need to add that back, if normal your okay
I personally dont add anything to my marine tanks as i dont wanna build up a cocktail inside
