hi all, im really trying to convince my mum and dad to convert my 75 litre bow fronted tank ( which is used for guppies and molly breeding ), into a nano tank, i wanted to know what fish and corals i can add to it.
i was thinking along the lines of:
CORAL: torch coral, sun coral.
FISH: black clownfish, percula clowns, damselfish, dwarf lionfish, yellow watchman goby. i really really want a green mandarin dragonet could i have one?

thanks

yer i geuss you could, butn i belive they need an established system (6months+) and copepods to feed on, which may come on live rock and last the maderin for a month or so, but then you would have to purchase a small acrylic tank, dosent have to be huge, id say like 14 L to grow your own copepods which can be quite expenisve. but its worth it :) they are great looking fish :good:

haha i know, im really trying to convince them, i love clarkii clownfish, my brother has 3 of them could i settle for 2 black and white clownfish, and maybe 1 or two clarkii clownfish?.
my brother has two copperband butterflys, they are gorgeous. my bro sed that clarkii clowns are quite aggressive to one another but his three are very peaceful and are sometimes very timid. so hopefully the aggression side of things will be ok
thanks agin

Right there are some issues with tank sizes here:

Damselfish can be really aggressive
Do not mix types of clownfish or they will fight until death
IMO I don't think that is enough water for clarkii clowns
Don't think a dwarf lionfish will fit in there, not sure though
Manderin there's the problem with feeding
