He is in Need of Good Home, I had seen him 2 Months Ago At the same LPS and he was still for sale today. There was another Red Blue DTCombtail but did not have enough on me.

All negotiations and questions must be posted in this sales thread and NOT by PM.

Communications may only be taken to PM once the sale and price has been agreed upon on the open forum and payment/collection details need to be given.
The agreement of the time and date of collection or postage, or confirmation that items have been posted should also be posted in the thread.

Sorry, but you cant seriously be considering shipping that betta? It is obviously in need of proper care and would be very stressed out already. Shipping will only stress it even more, and likely to lead to infection setting in due to the stress.
If you are going to purchase fish like this, then the least you could do is get it back to health before selling.

Its A Rescue that I am Offering a good home to, and also if no-one is able to take it ATM, then So be it. Will stay with me a while and fatten him up. Just wanted to Gain Interest in him, Nothing wrong with that

I am simply saying that that betta is obviously in very poor health, and that shipping will cause it more stress. This extra stress can lead to infections. The least you should do is keep it and get it up to weight before sending it through the postal service.

This, i would have thought, was the whole idea about resceuing. Albeit this isn't technically a rescue as you paid for it, thus the lfs owner gets their money to order more.

I bet he'll be stunning when he is back to full health in a new loving home. Gary, if there is nothing nice to say, just be quite. The lps usually has good bettas and there just happens to be 1 or 2 that are sick & no-one wants to buy, like all lps'/lfs'
did you ever get that combtail gill?

Excuse me Tropic John, there is no need to be rude and i am sure Gill can speak for himself. I am simply pointing out that that fish looks too poorly to be shipped, and it would be unethical to put the fish through the whole shipping proceedure at present. Better to get some weight on it and just ensure that there are no other health issues first. I see nothing wrong with that? Fairly basic stuff really.
I am quite aware that some lfs always have poorly looking fish in their tanks, but if they get someone willing to buy these sick looking fish, particularly bettas, it does nothing to stop them ordering more in. If this particular lps has these poorly looking fish often, then time would be better spent informing them why these fish are looking rubbish. If they dont listen, report them!

Now Now Boys no Argueing. :flowers: :flowers: :flowers:
A Buyer has been agreed upon Privately and has agreed to to let me bring him back to a decent size before shipping is considered.

TJ - Nope the Giant had been sold already. Knew it would not stay long on sale.
