Purple Porcelain Crab

I have a large Purple porcelain crab in my tank who upto last night seemed to be very peaceful last night one of my nass snails got a little close and he grabbed him and poked the snail about the snail was fine though are these crabs usually reef safe?

True porcelain are usually filter feeders and scavangers of small particles..most live on large anemones and can fade away without one..does it have filter feeding extensions at it's mouth?

It has big feeder fans guessing it feeds on pods etc. but still has huge claws
