Pump Has Broken.....

Hi all, Im new to all this and need some help.

I've had my marine fish tank only a couple of months, it a 500 litre tank with a sump system. I unplugged the main pump/filter and powerhead pump to do a water change and when I plugged the pump/filter back in it didnt come on. The powerhead pump is working fine. Just want to know if the fish will be alright until the shop opens in the morning and I can get pump fixed/replaced. And is there anythink I can (or shouldn't) do now and/or through the night to help the fish.

add your heater to the main tank and any other equipment if possible. usually when a pump does this if you can acess the impellar and turn it they fire up.
