Hi there! :kana:

Ive kept tropical fish for a few years now, and have always gone to the same lfs as the guy there has always given me good advice.
After a break of 2 yrs Ive set up a new tank but the guy from the shop talked me into buying 2 red eyed, red tailed puffer fish. He assured me that because the other fish in the tank is much bigger (about 8 times their size) there wouldn't be any problems. He also advised me to buy some small mountain minnos for the puffers to chase/eat which I did.
 I am very distressed that the puffers aren't interested in the minnos and are shreading the fins on my other fish. I know I need to separate them, but I really have no room, and none of the lfs's in the area will take them.
Can anyone help? Will the fins on my fish recover? I feel awful that Ive put him through this, what can I do to make it right?
I live in Northwich, Cheshire if anyones close enough to take the puffers off my hands?

Puffers no equal community fish. They are very aggressive. The fins should grow back, but I'd take the puffers back to the shop and give them a piece of your mind :grr:
