Will Puffers eat live river shrimp because mine has killed three but left them lying there for over a whole day and i'm starting to wonder if he will eat them ar not because if he doesn't I will have to ge them out before the water goes bad.

Yes they do eat them. Maybe it is just the shells that are left though. I'd take them out if I were you.
