Puffer Tank

Hi All
Right, I have set my 10 gal tank up for 2 dwarf puffers.
What else could I put with them & how many?
Some one mentioned oto cats & Bn Plecs (I am right in thinking this means Bristle nose Plecs?)

Yes but id have the Oto's over the plec I think the Plec when full grown will just feel a bit squat in a 10G.

Mabye not as Bn's only get to 5" max, usually IME they only get to about 3.5-4"... Otos for sure, in a 10gallon tank I'd say get 2 puffers, 1 BN plec (ALBINO looks cuter ^^) and say.... 4 otos... You may be able to get a kuhli loach, but get sand substarte, and don't get the BN, not sure however if a kuhli loach will be good in a 10gallon tank, some else may be able to help you there...

To small for a Kuhli Loack they need a min 20 Gallons told you this the other day. Also having 2 puffers, 1 BN and 4 Otos would make this tank overstock imho.

Dont over do it. You need to remember Puffers are VERY sensative too ammonia and nitrates. Personally id go with either 1 or 2 puffers and about 3/4 Otos nothing else.

ya it would be a slight overstock... but you might be ok... meh get rid of the Plec, keep 4 otos and the 2 puffers...
