Ibe had a number of puffers over the years, the Fahaka is a cool one but im not sure how it would look in a 4 foot tank on its own as they arent particularly lively fish. The humpback is cool, one of my local fish shops normally has them in sheffield. Figure of 8's are also cool, you should be able to have a few in a tank that size if heavily planted

These are nifty fish and reasonably easy to buy. A quick nip across to Tropical Fish Finder reveals that at least four stores in England have this fish in stock.

There are a variety of other pufferfish of this type, e.g., Tetraodon abei and Tetraodon cambodgiensis, together forming a distinctive group of Asian puffers of moderate size decorated with a (usually red) eyespot on the back half of the flank. I find them all very difficult to tell apart! A little time spent looking over the Aqualog pufferfish book would be very worthwhile.

Cheers, Neale

thanks for the replies. all the stores on fish finder are maidenhead aquatics who i believe move fish from 1 store to another so that could be worth looking into. thanks again.
