If possible, I would like to make a request to see if anyone here built caves for their puffers, using flat rocks. I was thinking about getting 3 rocks, two round and one flat, and naturally setting them together to make a cave like passage-way for my puffer.

Well, I may just have very strange puffers, but one of mine seems to sleep on the java fern and one seems to sleep inside my lava-like rocks. I can try to post a picture if yu like, but that sounds like a good idea to build one like that! from me!

For this shelf I just siliconed some thin rock slices to a flat piece of rock and made table of sorts. It seems to work well in dividing the tank in half. One of my Bronze puffers and a male Dwarf live below and a couple Dwarves live on the top floor.

Pufferpack, do you mind telling me what kind of silicone you use? Is it some special kind, like aquarium silicone, or is it just regular stuff?

Thanks.

GE Silicone I is aquarium safe (be careful though; GE Silicone II is not!!) and is less expensive than silicones sold at lfs.
